In class painting from this afternoon. Joe put crazy red lighting on the model which made for amazing bright oranges and reds. I tried adding his actual eyes, but I thought he looked better without them. I wish this class was two terms long. I'm learning so much!

Another self-portrait I did for homework. I experimented with an elongated, stretched canvas. Stretched canvas is so much better to paint on than gessoed boards. It takes the paint better.
